GARDEN ETIQUETTE Please remember the following Garden guidelines: - Stay on paths. - Deposit trash in designated receptacles. - Do not pick flowers or climb trees. - Pets are not allowed, except sight-enabling guide dogs/animals. - Picnic only in the designated picnic area. - No strollers, tripods, or easels in the Conservatory. - Shirts and shoes are required at all times. - No fires, alcohol, or portable radios. - Recreational sports, including skating, ball playing, cycling, etc., are no permitted. *Smoking is prohibited in: all buildings; the Forest; Children's Adventure Garden and Family Garden; Rock and Native Plant Gardens; Conservatory courtyards; and public Tram Tour and all other Garden tour vehicles. We ask that visitors do not smoke in the outdoor portions of the cafes or when participating in a public walking tour. *Smoking is permitted in all other outdoor areas.

Parking Details

Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. The Garden is easy to reach by Metro-North or subway. On-site self parking (Tuesdays-Sundays): $10 per vehicle On-site valet parking (Saturdays & Sundays): $15 per vehicle

THE ORCHID SHOW HOURS February 24-March 31: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Tuesdays through Sundays) April 1-April 8: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Tuesdays through Sundays) Last admission to the Conservatory is 90 minutes before closing.

Located in the Visitor Center (Conservatory gate entrance) and Mosholu gate (Metro-North entrance) Customer must present the actual credit card used to place the order, a photo I.D., and the order number.

Accessible Seating Info

Garden facilities are accessible. Patrons requesting accessible seating may purchase and use a regular ticket. - Wheelchairs are available free of charge at both Garden entrances, on a first-come, first-served basis (reservations are not accepted). An ID must be left with Visitor Services. - The Garden, its buildings, and its tour vehicles are accessible. However, portions of the Rock and Native Plant Gardens, Home Gardening Center, and Forest may be inaccessible due to rocky, muddy, and/or narrow paths. - Audiotours, which are t-switch compatible, are available at the Conservatory and Visitor Center for no additional charge. - A tour of a Garden collection with an American Sign Language interpreter is given the third Saturday of every month. Please call 718-817-8700 for more information. - Sight-enabling guide dogs/animals are permitted. - Accessible parking spots are reserved throughout the parking areas. - Accessible strollers for children are permitted in the Conservatory. *For additional information, contact Visitor Services at 718-817-8649.
